Research the provider and clinician
Confirm who will diagnose, plan, place implants and restore the bridge. Ask for their qualifications, registration and the regulator or professional body that oversees their work. Marketing coordinators should not replace a clinical consultation.
The Turkish Ministry of Health provides information about approved medical-tourism providers through HealthTürkiye. Approval is one check, not a guarantee of a particular outcome.

Get a proper pre-consultation
A treatment recommendation and meaningful quote should follow a qualified dentist’s assessment. Photos or a panoramic image can support early discussion but may not provide enough information for definitive diagnosis and consent.
Tell your own UK dentist about your plans. They may help you understand your dental history and will need to know what has been done if you need future care.

Plan for aftercare before you pay
Ask who will review healing, how urgent concerns are handled after you fly home and whether any UK-based appointments involve a dentist legally registered to practise in the UK.
Read the guarantee carefully. Confirm exclusions, maintenance conditions, who pays for flights and accommodation, and whether remedial work is included.

Documents to bring home
Keep a complete copy of your clinical record. This should include the final plan, consent information, scans and relevant images, treatment notes, implant labels or ‘passport’, component details, bridge material, prescriptions and aftercare instructions.
